About WOW

The WOW Zone is WCHG’s learning centre based at the Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

The WOW Zone is part of WCHG’s Community Investment team. Through the teaching of creative computing, we are dedicated to ensuring that the children and young people of Wythenshawe have access to high quality computing expertise and equipment allowing them to become the digital citizens of tomorrow.

We want to ensure that not only will these children develop the technical and collaborative skills required to succeed, but that they have opportunities to participate in activities which expand their moral, social and cultural horizons and raise their aspirations. As well as supporting schools with raising attainment in line with the Primary computing curriculum we are passionate about delivering projects which focus on creativity through digital making.
